About the Admin Role

The Admin Tools category is provided to support those people in each school, district, or region who administer the use of Knovation applications for their organization(s). If you login as an Administrator or Admin, this support category addresses the issues which affect you but which do not affect those users who login as either teachers or students.

As an Admin, you receive exclusive access to tools that will aid in managing your users and reviewing usage of the application. To better understand your role as an Admin, following is an overview of your scope of authority to administer the application. Admins can access information about usage and manage users at their own organization levels or at any organization level below them.

  • Admin at a Region: Can access information about all usage and all users at the Region level, the District level, and all Schools within each district in the region (for all organizations which have a current subscription).
  • Admin at a District: Can access information about all usage and all users at that District level, and all Schools within that district (for all organizations which have a current subscription).
  • Admin at a School: Can ONLY access information about usage and users at that school; cannot move users from that school to any other organization.
